Heard stuff about this movie and its sequel, though I havent seen it. Im looking to maybe buy it, but as we all know, some blind buys just DONT WORK (i've found this out the hard way)...so anyone who's seen this wanna give a heads up or something on how it is?

I bought Mordum off of the folks that made it at the last horror convention I went to. The guys and girls where cool to talk too and big horror fans. The movie itself sucked. It has no story what so ever. Nothing happens in it. There is no beginning or end really. Its just unsexy sex and violence. There is no plot, just rape, beat, disembowel, and repeat. If you are into flicks like Last house on the Left or I spit on your grave you might find something good in Mordum. The F/X arent bad at all for a movie of this budget but it gets old after awhile. Also its shot like the Blair Witch Project. Which isnt a bad thing, just some people cant stand that shakey camera.

I would say dont waste your money or time. But to each thier own.

I'd agree with ya, i actually gave up on this genre after watching Mordum. Give me a plot and some attempt at acting anyday. Theres tons of people out there that will tell ya this is the sickest flick of them all, but who cares? violence for me is only effective if i can connect to those who are doing it or on the recieving end, but you're not given that opportunity in this film. I'd say save your hard earned cash for something else.

Some unmemorable scenes from Mordum: SPOILERS (no plot spoilers since there is no plot)


This guy and his girlfriend have a girl in one box taped up and her boyfriend in another box taped up. Both taped up people are naked and have masks on. They tell the guy in the box if he cuts his dick off they'll let him go. So he cuts it off. They trap him in the box again and use his severed schlong to rape the girl in the box.

Two guys and a girl rape 2 girls in a basement. One guy cuts a hole in the stomach area of one of the victims. He then pulls out his dick and puts it in the girls stomach. He starts bangin away, and it lasts for like 5min.

Some girl gets beat and pissed on in a shower.

They go to some guys shed and theres a dead baby covered in maggots in a barrel. Theres also legs and arms decaying on the floor.

I loved Mordum. Yeah it has no plot but its not surposed to. Its just ment to be a video of a killer as it would be filmed in real life and it works well as that. I wasnt to much of a fan of the first one. To much filler.
