I'm about half way throught the book and its fantastic, i'm really looking forward to the film. I love Todd Field's In The Bedroom, hope this is just as good.

I've been waiting for this one for a while as well and it looks like yet another movie I gotta see this Sept/Oct...that trailer was fantastic - pretty original/distinctive trailer and definitely got my attention..

Looks phenomenal. This'll likely be the heavy, controversional, modern day set drama to take hold of the Oscars this year.

There's been one every year this decade. Consider the following:

Crash - 05
Million Dollar Baby - 04
Mystic River - 03
The Hours - 02
In the Bedroom - 01 (Same director)
Traffic - 00

WOW:eek:

That was one of the most orignal movie trailers I have ever seen! The sound of that train was creepy.

In the Bedroom, while acquiring multiple Oscar nominations, found itself lacking one important nod: Field's direction, which was superb for an actor turned first time director.

Hopefully, if the movie is as good as the trailer, some atonement will be made in regards to that category.

I have been anticipating LITTLE CHILDREN since I heard about it a while back, but now with that trailer out I am even more pumped. It has one great cast too. I can't wait.

Excellent trailer. I remember hearing about this film when Winslet and Connelly were cast. Looking forward to it...

I personally think didn't think In the Bedroom was a great movie. I think it would have been better if it were just about the parents grieving over their son's death. But it turns into a revenge thriller at the end and I didn't really care for that part as much despite a superb performance from Tom Wilkinson. That's why I think Moonlight Mile, also a movie about parents grieving over the death of a child, is a better movie. It's more real and honest I felt.

As for this movie, it looks interesting I suppose, but it wasn't anything to blown away from. They really don't show much which one could very much argue that that is better than other trailers that give away too much, but I still didn't see enough for me to be really excited about it. And this trailer doesn't give me much of a clue as to what it is about. Still, it looks decent.

Wow. I thought that In The Bedroom was one of the best movies of 2001, and Todd Field is one of the most promising directors working. Obviously, Kate Winslet is my favourite actress and I'm excited about every upcoming project of hers, but this one seems especially interesting. Jennifer Connelly is also wonderful.

Wow, looks like Kate will have one helluva year. With this coming up plus All the King's Men, Flushed Away and The Holiday... Maybe she'll win the fucking Oscar already, then I'll be the happiest fan alive!

p.s. That was the single best fucking trailer I have EVER seen.
