Please post here your reviews of Lucio Fulci's "Zombi 3".

P.S.
I bought the unrated and uncut version offered by Media-Blasters/Shriek Show.

Well, lower your expectations or else you'll probably be a bit disapointed.

(And by a bit, I mean greatly......... ;) )

At least you get some good gore, even if everything else is shit.

Is Lucio's 1979 zombie film, which is called either "Zombie" or "Zombie 2", better or worse or just as bad as "Zombi 3"?

Is it "so bad it's good"?

I enjoyed Zombi but its not nearly as good as pretty much ANY zombie movie released. The dubbing is annoying as hell (at least in the version I have) but the gore is good. Its just another one of those movies that try to be dark and gloomy but end up being just...wierd.

only worth it if you happen to pick up the three disc box set of Zombi films from Media Shriek show... available at best buy or Newbury comics for just under twenty dollars... cheaper than buying all three seperately...

but just go with Zombie and you'll be all set, its the only good one

This entry disproves the old saying, 3rd times a charm.
A dismal watch, very tedious, very boring.

Just stick with the 1st film.

Took Z3 back and got my $ back then went upstairs to another "record store" and found and bought a Battle Royale box set which includes the "extended version" of B.R. 1!!

I like to refer to it as the Zombie "where their world is populated by magical smoke machines everywhere."

Seriously.

There's atmosphere, and then there's 'let's make it foggy EVERYWHERE FOR NO REASON'.

I enjoyed it, for the most part. I can't decide which cheesy scene I like better - the bird attack in the RV or the flying head scene.

Definitely worth the 7 bucks I paid for it.
