I've seen the trailer but I don't know anything else about it. Is the buzz on this film good or bad? Does this film suck? How are the fight scenes, good or bad? How's the acting too? Anyone?

I've heard its ur typical martial arts epic...it's got some extra buzz due to it being Jet Li's last martial arts epic, but it looks like every other epic out there...coreographed fight scenese, boring plot, follwed by more fighting. I am looking forward to "The Protector" more myself... I might see fearless in theaters, but def on dvd.

Pretty good Jet Li movie, entertaining all the way through...it is a little short though and I tihnk it could have done with a longer and bigger fight sequence at the end.

I personally think it's too short...I'm curious to see all the scenes that were cut out with Michelle Yeoh (not due to studio interference but rather the director felt that they slowed down the film)...

What fight sequences there are here though are some of the best that I've seen in a Jet Li film in a long time, partly cause the camerawork during these fight sequences is a cut above the editing in his past few films and partly cause Yuen Wo Ping did the awesome choreography.

Acting is okay...Jet Li acts like a moron in the first part of the movie when he's "younger" but then again, he did that back in the OUATIC and Fong Sai Yuk films too so...It's not on par with those or The Tai-Chi Master but it's still entertaining. I'd recommend it.

7/10

i thought it sucked, the fight scenes were good and the only decent thing about it. the acting sucked and the story was poorly paced and i had to fight myself from running out of the cinema from boredom

complete waste of time

4/10

I watched it this past May.

I did not know anything about the film or who it was directed by (Freddy Vs Jason director? wow)

the first half of the film feels a tiny bit like the old style hong kong martial arts films, bla bla bla, they grow up, they fight, revenge.

the second half felt extremely close to The Last Samurai.

overall decent movie, I'd say a 6/10

For any kung fu film buff, this movie delivers just what we ask for in the first hour and twenty minutes… then, for some strange and anomalous reason, it turns into a weird ass drama for the rest of the film.

The pacing was nice and even during all the action sequences, great fights, nothing felt rushed during any part of the movie. But it slowed down incredibly just before the third act, and remained “slower” until the final showdown.

I dug it though, but I thought it could’ve been a hell of a lot better the it was. 6/10

Itr was directed by Ronny Yu who also directed Seed of Chucky. I've seen an import dvd of Fearless and it's great but not the hottest movie around the corner. For me as a tae kwon do student and fan of martial arts i found it good. Too bad this is Jet Li's final movie but now there is a new martial arts superstar...Tony Jaa.

I cant wait to see The Protector. Tony Jaa is basically the new Jet Li. No wires what so ever, and some amazing camera presence. I mean lets face it, Li is getting old. Ong Bak was great, and The Protector looks even better. If you dont believe me then check out the trailer; The Protector (http://www.theprotectormovie.com/)
