Words out that there will be several more Spider-man movies, since the franchise will likely be a cash cow for many years to come. It's pretty fair to say that the movies' stars, namely Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco (if he even survives the third movie), will not be in all of them. Who would be your pick(s) for our hero and the famous comic book redhead?

Well,

I don’t like Elijah Wood’s style but he strikingly resembles Tobey. I also think he did well as Kevin the young psychopath acrobat in Sin City. I am not a LOTR fan but…

Liv Tyler was always my first choice to play Mary Jane; I mean she can make a knockout red head (See her in One Night at McCool's 5/10). Tobey would just have hit the jack pot with her.

Bruce Campbell; I never understood why Sam Raimi didn’t find a suitable role for Bruce especially for him to play a villain, like let’s say Eddie Brock aka Venom. Bruce can be so expressive. I hope he makes another one of those cameos at least.

J.K Simmons, bring him back to play the only spider villain who doesn’t ware a mask even if he ought to. I was reluctant when I first heard about him being cast but what a terrific job he ended up doing. He is a sort of Charles Foster Kane.

I thought they really wasted Flash Thompson; they wrote and cast the character in a way that he was very forgettable, we probably will never see him again and that’s a shame. I think the entire first film should’ve been about Peter being in school and picked on all the time, his display of power against Flash was too much, but Spiderman 8/10 is still a good film.

Agent out!

I think the for the next film (Spiderman 4), they need to have a little more mystery. I don't think we always need to see the genesis and motivation of every villain Spiderman faces. That said--I would like to see The Chameleon pulling the strings in the next few films, behind the scenes. He kidnaps J Johah Jameson, impersonates him, and turns the city against Spiderman again, ramping up his attacks on him.

JJJ/Chameleon joins up with a scientist named Spencer Smythe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spencer_Smythe), and together they create the 'Spider-slayer' robots (they could also use this opportunity to have Pete develop the spider-tracers that he uses with the spider-sense to track villains--Smythe gets wise to Spidey's spider-sense and uses this to have the slayers track him).

When the slayers thing doesn't work, Jameson and Smythe hire Mac Gargan to undergo a scientific procedure, turning him into the Scorpion. It all blows up in their faces when the procedure makes Gargan crazy of course. Gargan would have to have some beef with Spidey beforehand, I guess--he'll need some fresh motivation. And make it so Gargan gets the symbiote sample in Connor's lab in the end--becoming the Scorpion Venom of the comics.

I would love to see them also minimize Mary Jane's / Dunst's role in this film--she's just a distraction, and how many times do we need to see her get abducted? I also almost wish they were also casting someone new as Spidey--someone not so diva-esque as Macguire--since his giant payday ensures that they want his face on screen as often as possible--hence Spidey constantly taking his mask off during battles. WTF?

honestly, I would totally like to see Kraven's Last Hunt done; the idea of seeing what is basically a regular guy defeat Spidey was amazing in the comics; I don't think you could tell that story well in 2 hours though;

The Lizard has been hinted at forever, and I think there are several angles you could take with that story.

I wasn't impressed with the last movie, so if they do make a Spider-Man 4, they have got to make it worthwhile. Get back to basics, persay, and make the film thrilling and exciting.
