Aren't Ween fucking AWESOME?

I'd say my favorite is The Mollusk. Practically every song in that album is excellent.

What's YOUR favorite?

In case youre reading this and don't know who Ween are, they're a very funny, very crude band that has a lot of musical talent and has done songs in many different genres. They could be called a 'joke band', but that'd be a disservice to how fucking awesome they are. The Mollusk is their 'prog' album, 12 Golden Country Greats is their country album, their rest are a bit more versatile but still awesome.

Prog as in "interesting and inventive" or as in "progressive wank that keeps going on and on?"

I hope it's the first one. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Kinda creepy looking though.

Prog as in parody of Genesis / Yes / etc, but the songs are short.

ween is great. i watch there concert on on-demand and i was quite blown away.

I'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks at ACL. One of the bands I'm really looking forward to.
