Not much more needs to be said. I just found this out by reading the new issue of Rolling Stone.
By the way, Beck site (www.beck.com) is pretty cool
Yes, please. As an artist with one genius album (Midnite Vultures) and four almost genius albums (Guero, Odelay, Mutations, and Sea Change), the new album is definitely a must-buy.

I fucking cant wait. I am a huge fan of Beck. I loved his last CD Guero. Beck has been known to go in completely different directions with his music.
Does anyone know what direction he is taking in this cd?

Yes, can't wait for this.
I've heard a couple of songs already - Cell Phone's Dead (http://www.mooncolonyrazorblade.com/mp3/beck-cell.mp3) and Think I'm In Love (http://bree25.buzznet.com/user/video/play/38159/). Both very groovy.

I think he said something about just trying to go back to the way the made Odelay...a bunch of people rocking out with random shit and not really too concerned with where it takes them.

Great news - The guy makes great albums, althought Soul Manure was a bit too out there for me and I haven't heard Sea Changes.
Mutations and Odelay are probably my favorites, but they are all really good albums. I wasn't too crazy of his Price schtick on Midnight Vultures.

I've heard the songs he released a while ago. They're not bad at all.
btw his best album is Odelay followed by Midnight Vultures.
