Wow. Now I remember why I hate MTV.

Boy, am I glad I watched season 2 of Veronica Mars on DVD instead of this.

I actually switched the channel during the 2003 ceremony when Madonna and Britney were announced to present then later had that "extend my 15 minutes of fame" publicity stunt of a kiss. Looking back,I'm glad I avoided watching that live.
