This was possibly the only redeeming value of watching the VMA's (to be fair, I flipped back and forth and never lingered for too long). Since MTV are very serious about censorship, I got to listen to the singer hilariously censoring himself as he said "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the odd damn door?"
Almost on par with R. Kelly's "mentaly challenged kid playing with his imaginary friends" performance of "Trapped in the Closet".:p

Man, R. Kelly's performance at last year's awards show was the single oddest and most disturbing thing I've ever seen in my entire life. Does the guy actually think that this... thing that he wrote is good? My God, what a terrible piece of "music" that whole Trapped in the Closet thing is!

are you serious? you actually though their performance was good? The singer had troubles keeping up with the song and could barely sing it.

You missed my point. I found it laughably bad. I don't even like the song to begin with.:p

The VMA's truly were terrible... I was at least expecting Jack Black to be funny, but nope... same with Sarah Silverman. I'm assuming they didn't get to write their own stuff, because they were nowhere near funny.

1. Panic! at the Disco is fucking shitty fuckshit.
2. That black guy who ran up on stage and hijacked their speech was a thousand shades of awesome.
3. I'm contemplating suicide for spending more then five minutes of my time watching MTV.

Official request to change title of this program to the EMO awards.
Change name of station to EMOTV.
Require all VJ's (they still have those?) and reporters to wear their hair greasy, dyed black and some fruity color and wear in their face. Even Xibit, Sway and Kurt Loder if anyone fids his pulse.
Requre a 1 hour educational spot on why guys wearing fishnet on their arms and eyeliner is NOT an expression of their gay side.
Requre a further 1 hour spot describing in detail the differences between front man for an emo band and a 14 y.o. boy missing his nutsac that can't stop crying about the girlfriend he lost because he has no nutsac.
I miss rock n roll. I even miss Snoop Dogg. Remember when he used to make music n stuff? That was cool.
