The infinifilm release coming this month to be specific. I HATE it! I'd have MUCH prefered the original theater poster for the box cover. The one that has (among other things in it) that brunette white kids face with a scared look on it in it with Freddy's bladed glove (fingers spread and palm down) just above it. Now THAT'S the box cover art the Infinifilm Version that's coming should have! What say you?

Pardon me for not being a N.O.E.S. expert but...

Do you mean the female lead in N.O.E.S. Prt.1? The artist that did the box cover art didn't do a good job then 'cause the girl on the box cover (aka "Nancy") doesn't look too much like lead actress Heather Langencamp (sp?)!

Given what I've found out about "The Nightmare On Elm Street Collection" and the existance of this thread, why didn't anybody tell me about the N.O.E.S. box set?

Yes I mean that box art. I love it too. And for nostalgia reasons I wanted it as the box art for the Infinifilm Edition of NOES 1 not the crap we got instead. :mad:

I got the Infinifilm release of NIGHTMARE and I'm not in the least bothered by the new cover art. That's coming from a longtime hardcore fan too. It's different but it is pretty cool i think. I like the use of red on white. The original is classic but I don't think this new box art is any reason to hate the dvd (which is really great by the way).
