I'm not a completist when it comes to this abysmal franchise, but I did purchase the above hoping for a comprehensive documentary on the making of the original (and best) Halloween.

So then who forgot to include an in-depth interview with John Carpenter? likewise where the fuck in the dark is the Nick Castle interview??

I can't comprehend the positive reviews it's been getting. More times been spent on the sequels than the original. What an insult to John Carpenter and Debra Hill. This isn't the definitive guide to the Halloween series this is a patchwork quilt of lame arse two-to-three minute interviews

Awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read several scathing reviews on the ‘Halloween 25th Anniversary Edition’ DVD, saying it was dreadful! Plus, the sound had been tweaked for this re-release. They also said that color timing on this print seems off, not what Carpenter had intended. Even worse, the extras were said to be kind of scant at best. If that is true, then I would easily pass up this latest "Double Dipper" DVD from Anchor Bay!

AB will be getting my business this October 3rd, with the LONG awaited DVD release of ‘The Norliss Tapes’ a very little seen gem. This is one creepy as hell ‘Vampire’ film from 1972, Directed by the late great Dan Curtis who produced TV’s original ‘Dark Shadows’ and the ever popular ‘The Night Stalker’! :D

I am jacked for this DVD of 'Norliss'!!!
Recommended Viewing, of course mate...:D ;)

Lol! I'm talking about Halloween 25 Years of Terror, a two disc release covering the entire franchise, narrated by PJ Soles:D

The 25th Anniversary (Divimax) edition of Halloween is sweet as a nut, nothing wrong at all with the color balance;)

I thought it was a very good DVD, with a very cheap price tag. I felt almost offended when I saw the great convention that Halloween fans put on, and John Carpenter and Jamie Lee didn't even show up for it. I doubt they're that busy.

Why should Carpenter show up? he detests the sequels, that includes H2.

I imagine he's embarrassed that so many people are so obsessive over Micheal Myers and go to such ridiculous lengths to show off their fandom.

It makes me cringe looking at pictures of people dressed up as Myers.

Like Freddy Krueger he's been turned in to a fucking caricature!

I guess for me personally if a group of people who really admired my work, went to great lengths to set up a convention honoring my work, and were a big part of my success; I would feel I owed them.

There's nothing wrong with people showing their appreciation for the character of Michael Myers, whether that means dressing up as him or otherwise.

MacReady: Somebody in this camp ain't what he appears to be. Right now that may be one or two of us. By spring, it could be all of us.
Childs: So, how do we know who's human? If I was an imitation, a perfect imitation, how would you know it was really me?
