i recently splurged on new dvd's and picked up some good horror flicks. I got darkness vampire version and was pleasantly suprised. It was full of gore gore and even more gore. Being a fan of Zombie films like all romero's dead films i can't get enough of blood and guts. It's all in good fun, the bloodiier the better. That's what impressed me the most about Darkness. I also got Trilogy of Terror ( Karen Black is the Greatest b movie actress of all time) and was so happy with not only the film but the bonus features. darkness and trilogy were enough to keep me entertained for a while.

zuniman, I am a HUGE fan of Leif Jonker’s Darkness!!! Great to see that you discovered the film too, I posted a review for it. Then Leif Jonker himself actually contacted me and posted on the thread as well...

BTW---Welcome to the boards!!!

So as to the first film/DVD you mentioned the title was exactly: "Darkness (Vampire Version)"?
