I love Catherine Keener, she's talented, funny, smart, and sexy. She also brightens up any movie she's in and, most often, flat out steals them from her co-stars. I've ranked here all the leading performances I've seen from her but it should be noted I've NEVER seen her be bad.

She's a lot like Maura Tierney: she always seems like she's lived a bit and picked up some wisdom along the way.

I haven't seen some of her key performances, but I would be hard pressed to imagine anything topping Lovely and Amazing. I'm not going to follow her lead and tell anyone who disagrees with me to fuck off :D , but I think it will always be my favorite.
