He's a fairly good director, Notch, but he's only made three films!!

OK then...

1. Days of Heaven - 9/10
2. Badlands - 8/10
3. The Thin Red Line - 7/10

Like the law, he works exceedingly slow, but the results are exceedingly fine (That's an O.W. Homles paraphrase, warped just a bit...)

It's a surprisingly tough call, out of three films.

1. Badlands. It has the best script of the three, and is (of course) exquisitely filmed.

2. Days of Heaven. The best photographed movie I've ever seen, followed closely by Ridley Scott's The Duellists.

3. The Thin Red Line. A terrific film which demands intelligence, and your full attention for it's maximum enjoyment...which is why so few people seem to like it.

All at least 8.5's, if not higher.

Ah, the filmmaker who REALLY takes his time.

1. Days of Heaven - **** ½
2. Badlands - ****
3. The Thin Red Line - *** ½

All good films, though I was disappointed by TRL, because half the time, it didn't make sense due to its muddled script.

1. The Thin Red Line. Amazing film, probably the best war movie I've seen.

2. Days of Heaven. A very beautiful and atmospheric movie, one of my favorite films of the 70s.

3. Badlands. I wasn't really enthusiastic about this one. How does it actually differ from numerous other movies of the Bonnie & Clyde genre?
