I was trying to watch the Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning trailer and the apple trailer site said I could only watch it between 10 pm and 4 am! Is this some kind of joke? I don't know about you guys but this does not make me want to see the movie more. Frankly, it pisses me off.

Bring home straight A's on your report card and maybe mom will let you stay up until 10:30.
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX, MAN.
I keed, I keed. It's a thoughtful, yet stupid decision making on the marketing campaign... And I hope that its pissed you off enough to not want to support the stupid assholes who made the first. ;)

I know man but it's not my fault!
I'm fatter than the guy in my avatar and I just can't pass gym! Jenny Craig, Seattle Sutton, ANYBODY help me!
But seriously, I saw the trailer and I think it looks awesome. I don't see the fuss why a lot of people didn't like the first one. I loved the gritty kind of cinematography in it and the people were so damn dirty. Maybe if they came out with this one first, then others would think differently. Talking along the line of everybody seems to hate remakes and this story is wholly original. But that's for another post.

Why do people keep calling it Part 2? It's a prequel to a remake, there's already an official TCM2 and this ain't it!

I didn't think the cinematography was all that gritty, nor was the family all that creepy.
I'm not a big anti-remake type of guy, seeing as I actually paid money to see this during the first week it debuted in the theater. I thought that the first ten minutes were kind of antriguing, but almost everything after that was kind of pointless, cliched, and at times, just downright stupid.

I actually really dug the remake and have to say that it was downright clever at parts. Sure, it wasn't as good as the original, but it's still good on it's own merits.
So, I'm anticipating this prequel with pure horror-loving joy.

Just for a note, the test screening reviews for this have been pretty stellar. The consensus is that it's much better than the previous TCM remake and one of the best horror movies of recent years. People all around have been really surprised how strong movie it is.
