1. Zeke Tyler in THE FACULTY
2. Hugo Goulding in “O”
3. Michael Fitzgerald in “Cracker” (TV)
4. John Tate in HALLOWEEN: H20
5. Trip Fontaine in THE VIRGIN SUICIDES

More than just a “pretty boy” actor (unlike many of his “style-over-substance” contemporaries), Hartnett has proven his acting mettle in a variety of film and television roles (with an intense screen presence to match). I have not yet seen BLACK HAWN DOWN, PEARL HARBOR or 40 DAYS/40 NIGHTS. He was perfect in his “bad boy” roles in THE FACULTY and “O”.

Harnett's Hugo in O is one of the finest, most intensre portrayals of an antagonistic figure ever.

Definitely his role in Black Hawk Down 8/10.

He was very good in "O" and Black Hawk Down. Pearl Harbor and H2O weren't the best, but he still turned in some decent acting despite the mediocre scripts.

I didn't like his character in "The Virgin Suicides" but it was still a good performance. But who would leave Kirsten Dunst?
