Out of those, tos up between Copollas dracula or lost boys. But where is hte original Dracula or even From dusk Till Dawn?

dracula was cool but nevermind him where was the first, the one before them all
nosferatu
I'd go with the lost boys, being on that list.

I was so pumped to represent From Dusk Till Dawn in this thread. But it's not here...neither is Nosferatu or the original Dracula. It's okay though, I guess I'll go The Lost Boys or Blade. Probably The Lost Boys...

That's a tough one. I picked Bram Stoker's Dracula by a hair over Interview with a Vampire - both great movies. And I'd take Blade II over its predecessor anyday.

Near Dark

Never seen Near Dark but as far as the rest of the list (of course remembering how there is no From Dusk Till Dawn or Nasferatu) I'd go with Interview with a Vampire - 9/10

Fright Night is my fave and choice for the best. 2nd choice would be Dracula (1979) starrring Frank Langella

Underworld, although John Carpenter's Vampires comes pretty close. Especially for James Woods badass performance.

Interview with The Vampire
Although From Dusk Till Dawn should SO be in there.

Shadow of the Vampire!
Glad that made the list.
My all time favorite is Monster Squad. Dunno why. Just childhood memories or something.

Can't believe I forgot FROM DUSK TIL DAWN, yet I put in turds like Buffy and Dracula 2000. Must've been drunk. I feel ashamed.

Shadow of the Vampire is my favorite movie on there, though I don't think any of those movies qualifies as being the best vampire movie ever made. There are several classics that you left out:
Les Vampires (1915)
Nosferatu (1922)
Dracula (1931)
Vampyr (1932)
Horror of Dracula (1958)
The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967)
Salem's Lot (1979)
Near Dark (1987)
The Lost Boys - 10/10
John Carpeners Vampires - 8/10
(tie)
Interview With The Vampire - 8/10
Fright Night - 7/10
And I agree with zeppelin...every one of those choices should be on the poll.

I'm not terribly fond of Vampire movies.
Some of these are great but most are just plain crap.
Went with John Carpenter's Vampires, the most fun movie of the bunch.

I love vampire movies, but I hate Dracula. I didnt even like the book. Boggles the mind (at least my mind).
I voted Blade. the character was revamped (pardon the pun) with a new look but same attitude. One of the first of the new comic book movies craze (not counting the Supermans and Batmans from before). I really liked the style, the characters, and especially the secret society of vampires. Almost like what the vampires in I Am Legend were going for. That whole board room table scenes were a cool concept.

Interview with the Vampire by far. I will never understand everyones obsession with The Lost Boys. I have tried time and again to watch and enjoy that movie. Unfortunately the only part of that I get right is the watching. Enjoyment is impossible for me with The Lost Boys. Interview with the Vampire is how I always imagined vampires to be if they were real.

Where the fuck is Near Dark on the list?
Also, The House that dripped Blood only had vampires in one of it's segments, so isn't really a vampire film per se.

I gotta go with Underworld. probably because i'm a girl and that Selene was just rad. If i was the boss of a vampire flick, that's the look i would have gone for.

Fuck yeah buddy!, one of the very few sequels that's far better than the original, Blade 2 is one of my all time favorites. As for the list it was a tough one between Bram Stoker's Dracula ,The Lost Boys, and John Carpenter's Vampires but i went with The Lost Boys. But From Dusk till Dawn and the aformentioned Blade 2 definitely should've been on the list for sure.

There's too many good movies to choose from. Near Dark...Lost Boys... etc. etc. But no one has mentioned Lifeforce yet. That had a unique and tantilizing spin to it. Or of course there's always The Hunger.
