This year there've been some really interesting indie films:

Hard Candy (8/10)
Edmond (9/10)
Thank You For Smoking (7/10)
Friends With Money (8/10)
Kinky Boots (7/10)

and I don't know if it counts but there's also the amazing 13 Tzameti (9/10) the best film of the year by far.
