Are there plans for a 2-Disc S.E. of Slither? 'Cause if there is I won't buy the 1-Discer coming out next Tues., I'll wait for the 2-Disc S.E..

Amazon seems to be saying that what's going to be released on Tues. is going to be rated ! :mad: :mad: YYYYYYYYYUK !! I was hoping for a unrated edition! It is a gory Horror film after all... DAMN you Universal!! :mad: :mad:

Yeah, James Gunn didn't have too many problems with Universal or the MPAA on the theatrical cut, so besides the deleted scenes that are on the DVD, there's not really anything to put back in the film to make it "Unrated". I'm actually quite proud of Universal, they usually shove the deleted scenes back in regardless of how it disrupts the pace, and only offer the Unrated version in widescreen.

Oh. That's good then!
If I understand you correctly the Slither deleted scenes are on the DVD on the one hand, but not integrated into the film on the other hand?

Yeah, cos they don't belong in the film according to Gunn. The theatrical cut is his director's cut, so putting it back in would disrupt the pace. I think maybe down the line, Universal could get greedy and offer a director's cut, but the current edition will be fine with me, methinks.

I also agree...and I totally forgot Jenna Fisher was in this movie! It was better than I remembered it being.
