Blue (Kieslowsky). Best film I've ever seen about the random hand life can sometimes deal you.

Til there was you is my favorite. How many times do we almost meet our soulmate and just miss them by minutes.

Could we quite mentioning Donnie Darko for awhile ? It's not like it's the greatest movie in the world.

Don't read the DD posts if you choose not to. Outstanding movie that needs word of mouth to be more fully appreciated. Could we stop mentioning The Godfather series, it's not like they're the greatest movies in the world, and they don't need word of mouth.

Could everyone stop mentioning Showgirls. It's not the masterpiece you lot make it out to be.

My favourite movie (on topic) is Magnolia. After that, everything that has been mentioned, plus Being There.

Assuming this is still a forum that celebrates opinions: DONNIE DARKO, by far.
Probably too smart a film for it's own good.

A modern day classic....well...sort of... that I barely ever hear about on the boards. 1987's MOONSTRUCK w/Cher. Very enjoyable, well written, and its all about coincidence, which is the cause for much of the humor. I can't think of anymore, since the few I knew have been mentioned.

Magnolia would be the hands down winner.

Followed by,Donnie Darko.A brilliantly made movie which needs MORE people talking about it.
