Here it comes... the first of many reissues of Army of Darkness, only now it's in HD!
I figured it was about time for another version of this movie. I feel sorry for those fans who insist on collecting everything, cause they'll never stop repakaging this movie.

I love this film, but am yet to own it. So I'll definitely be picking this up.
Off-topic, did this forum's name change?

Yeah, it did.
And this is one of the few movies I feel I don't wanna watch on a format with even better quality. I already cringe at some of the overlaying effects (don't know exactly to call them, the nail in the foot and almost all the effects interacting with the mini-Ashes) so even better quality makes them look worse.

Matteing and blue screening are probably the words you're looking for.
Edit to add: I've already bought the film twice (director's cut and theatrical - theatrical is better), and that's enough for me. Point in fact, I bought all three Evil Dead films twice. Twice is one too many for me.

Thank you, exactly what I was talking about. I love most of the campy effects, but those stick out a bit too much...
And yes, I own the Universal release (I was looking for it after they pulled the Boomstick edition), and didn't much care for the "bootleg" version, so it'll be a while before I decide to pick it up again. I do however own the forced widescreen version of The Evil Dead, so if they re-release it again with better extras and the original formatting, I'll pick it up.
