Is Lucio Fulci's The Beyond out of print or is it just hard to find?

Both. I paid $30-something for mine used (the Anchor Bay edition). Good movie and a great DVD, though.

Looking at Amazon.com now, they have it available from a seller for $26.99. Figures.

I did see a DVD titled Seven Doors Of Death from Diamond Entertainment very cheap, but usually those discs from Diamond contain crappy-quality full screen transfers, and the film is usually edited. I believe when the film was released in the US it was with that title, and it was cut. The Anchor Bay disc is uncut.

yeah, Seven doors of death is the one i ordered from Amazon. That sucks that it's edited and crappy quality but how crappy? Is it unwatchable? If so i only paid three dollars plus shipping for it so that's not bad.

Oh, I don't know. I've never watched the DVD, I only saw it in a store. But that's not a bad price at all - if this is your first viewing, you might decide if you want to upgrade to the better edition if you like the movie.

i got mine off of ebay..the anchor bay edition...for around 30 dollars...new
