THE SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE CLAUSE
Directed By Michael Lembeck (The Santa Clause 2, Connie & Carla)
Written By Ed Decter and John J. Strauss (The Wild)
Starring: Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, Eric Lloyd, Judge Reinhold, Wendy Crewson, Spencer Breslin, Alan Arkin, Abigail Breslin, Art LaFleur, Aisha Tyler, Kevin Pollak and Martin Short
Running Time: 98 Minutes
Rated: G
Say what you will, but I've always been a fan of this series. They're light, they're silly, they're a bit ridiculous, but damn if they don't get me into the Christmas spirit! Sure, its a bit early to be releasing this film, but both of the first two Santa Clauses opened in the first or 2nd week of November and they both managed to easily cross the $100 million mark. I haven't heard any reviews about this film, and one has to be cautious when dealing with the 3rd film in the series, but nearly everyone (save for the awesome David Krumholtz, damn!) is back from the 2nd film, which I enjoyed immensley, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm not expecting a cinematic masterpiece, but merely a fun, high spiritied, christmasy time at the theatre, with beautiful production values to boot! Merry (early) Christmas!
