So this is how Fox treats us horror fans. I say we should ignore any horror movie Fox or Fox Atomic put out due to this.
Turistas, Hills Have Eyes 2 and 28 Weeks Later, I say boycott them all and show Fox we don't like being insulted like that.

Sorry, I can't agree to do that... I will be seeing all three of those movies, as I believe they'll all be Rated R.... The only thing I boycott in the genre of horror, would be anything that's NOT rated R.... :p

Talk about a bunch of ignorant f*cks.
That about sums it up. Remember, these are the same numbnuts who said that The Passion of the Christ, a violent gore fest about a 2000 year old religious leader, was "patriotic."
And O'Reilly supports this administration's torture policy. I guess it's okay to actually act out scenes from Saw (on Muslems only, of course), but you can't show them in movie theatres.

"Torture" part.
It's Muslims.
You have alternative? Let's hear it! But if my family will be dead because they only offered tea and cookies to the peace-loving monsters and treated them as the British Queen while their comrades were making another bombs under the Russian instructors' supervision, I shall blame you. :(
I bet this thread was about Fox News and Bill talking about slashers.
It got nothing to do directly with 20th Century Fox movies, no?

O'Reilly is enraged (what else is new) at FICTIONAL depictions of torture, but has no problem with ACTUAL torture. He's a hypocrite and a douche.
Yes, he's also a douche for supporting torture, but that's not the point of this thread.

I watched the video. He mentions the horror movies of 'his day' were Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, etc.
That is one old fucker.
The whole thing was pretty amusing.
I don't think it's an important issue.
I watch torture in movies all the time, but I find torture in real life to be the most reprehensible thing ever, right up there with murder and rape.

This whole Fox Atomic thing is another nail in the "why I hate Fox" coffin. As if the painfully biased news channel isn't enough, we have various cancelled shows (Futurama, Firefly, you name it), butchered movie franchises (why they didn't just wait for Singer on X-Men 3 is totally beyond me), and now this Fox Atomic thing which seems to me like a sad, pathetic attempt to exploit the most irritating film genre to show up since video game adaptations - the gorefest torture flick. 28 Weeks Later, I mean honestly - go right ahead, take the most original horror film in a decade and butcher it by adding some stupid plot involving Americans. God, it pisses me off so much. I mean, the little chance I give the Horror genre as it is...

For once Monotreme, we see completely eye to eye. A pact against Fox, my brother?;)

Well, I guess a certain college has started their own boycott in advance: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=17334
I call it "Revenge of the University Location."

28 Weeks Later looks to be pretty sweet,(looks like it has that same gritty feel!) but really, i dont NEED any more reasons to hate FOX. They suck more then enough as is for many of the reasons Monotreme listed above.:(

It's hilarious when they say "these movies couldn't be made 10 years ago" - they're all homages to the grindhouse movement from 30 YEARS AGO. idiots.

Guys, you are all so very looking at this the wrong way. Check it out, Bill O'Cocksucker- I men- O'Rieley is saying these movies are sick and depraved and we should be shipped off for loving them. I don't know about you, but if I had heard that about a movie when I was kid, I would've chewed nails and shit gunpowder to get through the door and see this flick! Not unlike a bell ringing and angels getting their wings, every time one of these fanatic assholes rants about society going to hell on a shutter because of horror films, hordes of horror fans are drawn into the fray, and a new generation of horror fans are born. We should all write to Mr. O'Cocksucker and thank him for his help in recruiting new blood. Added to this, him ranting about Fox's new slate of horror films is just free advertising. Fucker's a puppet, nothing more than a lap-dog for the corporation.

Well, I won't be seeing any of these movies, but not because I'm against Bill O'Reilly and his dumbass opinions. I just have no interest in seeing them. But I enjoyed the Saw franchise and if that makes me a freak or some insane psychopath, then I think I know who'll be my first victim. I could give a shit about what that perverted mother fucker, whose only love is the sound of his own voice, and is probably pissed off and jealous that the people making these movies are making a shitload more money than he is.
