Anyone ever bought a DVD lot off Ebay? If so how was the experience? Were any of the dvds damaged, unwatchable?

I've always wanted to buy one of those lots...cause those are usually some crazy good deals...but yea I'm always worried about getting ripped off, the condition of the dvds, ect. cause I am very picky about my dvds...

Before I started burning dvds I bought one of those lots - 45 dvds, I was the winning bidder of $50 + 10 shipping so it was a crazy good deal w/ new releases. Some of the dvds were you unwatchable shape because they were so badly scratched but for the most part all the dvds were in great form and needed only some minor cleaning.

Those deals can be very desceptive i bought a lot of south park boxsets the first 5 seasons and they showed pictures of the sets looked like the normal south park sets and when i got them they were in paper sleeves and no boxes and no episode guide i got my money back though and i dont think he is allowed to sell anymore

I've never had a problem. Just check to see the seller's rating on Ebay and if the photos they have are not stock photos, I've boughten quite a few DVD's and VHS off of Ebay and have been pretty damn happy with all of them.

That's where I've bought half my DVD's from and 99% of the transactions have been flawless. There are a few times I got burned on some Criterions some prick never sent, and some non-working DVD's (which the seller was more than willing to give a refund on).
The key is to always check the Feedback and click "From Buyers" to see what buyers have left feedback plus shipping as well because some Sellers can charge outrageous shipping charges. I'd say of the about 85 Criterions I own, 65 are probably from eBay.
