Yeah, so today at school, one of the people from the student senate was handing out ticket looking things. She walked up to a group of us and said, "Want to see a free movie?" Free stuff = good, so I grabbed one. Turns out, it's for a free advanced screening to Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny this coming Thursday in Berlin, CT. It's for two people, so I'm totally going with my friend. It's not the best drive, but it's free, so hey. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself. It feels nice, because I've never really gotten to do some free cool shit like this before.

It's gonna be awesome, because a bunch of my friends from school are going, too. I can't wait. Good thing my work schedule is clear the rest of the week.

Anyone else feel tricked? Sometimes there are free advanced screening tickets that you can get online, and that's what I thought this was...
That makes me a sad panda.

I'm leaving in about an hour because I have to get there REAL early because on the ticket, it says first come first serve. I hope my friends can get in, too. I'll let you all know how it is when I get back.

MOTHERFUCKER. So, my friend and I drive 45 minutes to get to this damn theater, only to find out that it wasn't showing tonight because the print of the movie never came. They offered a free movie instead, but there wasn't anything I wanted to see. So, one of the people there signed the ticket I had so I could go to a showing next Wednesday in Buckland Hills. Too bad I have NO IDEA where that is. Oh, well. At least I got a sweet poster out of the deal.
