Clockstoppers is the latest film from Paramount/Nickelodeon and I must say that it looks rather intriguing. I may check it out in theatres, but more likely on video!!!

What are your guy's thoughts on this film???

I can not wait to see this awesome film. Reminds me of the time machine, until I saw the time machine. Than the time machine reminded me of something different from time to a machine. That machine was different from time, cause time in the machine didnt make any sense, but the effects were cool, and hopefully Clock stoppers will be cool too. Hopefully they wont make a porn film using the name Clockstoppers without the L., or something like that.

I won free tickets to this film and saw it last night. It was okay. The story was fairly good. The acting was good except for the main girl. She seemed to act like she was in some big action film and forgot she was in a Nickelodeon action film. My main problem with this movie is the trailer is just as good. If you watch this movies trailer you'll get all the emotions that you would get after paying $7.50 to see this. And if you think the effects look awesome. I thought they got old and were few and far between. BLADE II is the picture effect lovers should see.

CLOCKSTOPPERS rating: 6/10

Catch a matinee or buy the DVD. Those two seem appropirate. Now DEATH TO SMOOCY and THE ROOKIE are great films. I am still waiting to see PANIC ROOM. There was no free screening in my area.

Not to seem like an ass (not my intentions at all, and if I seem like one, I apologize), but idealdiscountdude, I believe I posted a "Clockstoppers" thread back in January in the Upcoming Movies forum...or since it's now a current sort of film, you have the right to post a thread...dang, I'm confused...

This movie looks horrible! The trailer is just unbearable to sit through. Everything about this flick looks so stupid. I won't catch in the theaters, or on video.

I can't imagine anyone over 10 years old being interested in this movie. The trailer looked incredibly stupid.

What's so confusing about it???

When you posted your thread, it was an Upcoming film, now it's a current film, so I posted a thread.

Clockstoppers unfortunately looks like a dumb "Back to the Future" wannabe. 10-year old kids who worship Nickolodeon will probably love it, but I don't think it looks that great. I'd rather see Panic Room!

looks pretty idiotic IMO. sure the premise is interesting, but because its PG, nothing really fits. i read a review which will probably be a main complaint. that since its PG, the "teenagers" don't act like teenagers. a 16 year old boy with a thing that would essentially make him invisible, and instead of doing something fun, they act like 9 year olds. add in the Token Black Guy and you've got a possible bomb

Wow! Was I Surprised. Ya Know Why Critics Hated It? Because It's Made To Entertain.
Here Are My Points.
1. The sciene terms and explanations used in the film are pretty much accurate (I am surprisingly good at science.) And although a watch that speeds your molecules 25 times faster seems impossible, in the future it could happen.
2. Jesse Bradford - Great, great screen presence. He just seems like a really cool guy. The rest of the cast is pretty good also.
3. Special Effects - awesome, simply awesome
4. Kick ass soundtrack
5. Soooo Cool!
6. I would describe this as The Matrix meets Back To The Future meets Nickelodeon. As for the first two, well they are obviously amazing, and the third one, although I am a teeneager and Nick is made for younger kids I still love it... you just gotta.
7. Nice message about keeping a good relationship with your father and family.
8. Being two or three years younger than the character Zak I feel as if the director/writer did a great job of creating him. I really felt like I could identify with him and his issues.
9. Sure its aimed towards younger audieces but the direction quite nice. The script was overall nice as well. You have to remember these are teenagers talking etc.

In Conclusion, This was a great, fun, entertaining film. 8/10

Wow, this was horrible. Like it was already stated this is a very poor rehashing of Back to the future. So very cliched and boring.

Spend your money somewhere else.

2/10

I loved this movie. It was very good but a bit to short. The actors were very good and the movie was funny. Its definitly one I would buy on DVD.
