The Upcoming Darren Aronofsky film is coming out on the 22nd. If you are into science fiction it should be pretty sweet. There is a contest up on a site called stainless steel rat. If you are interested you can enter and win some prizes check it out. http://www.stainlesssteelrat.net/fountain.htm

Yeah when the first post made links to another site, the first thought tends to be that it's spam...

Looking forward to The Fountain just like everyone else here :p...my roommate got to see it already at the festival the lucky bastard.

And good site there, I recognize the screen name of that guy who hosts that site (stainless steel rat) and he once sent me nancy wilson's vanilla sky score which I'd been looking for forever (as it has never been officially released)...

But yeah, welcome to the forums in any case :D

I also can't wait to see The Fountain it looks fantastic. I'm a huge fan of Darren Arofonsky's work Requiem for a Dream is one of my all time favorites.

I almost saw this at the film festival, but it was sold out :(

Because my local theater fails at every turn, I'll be driving 2 hours just to see it opening day.

I saw the film at the Haifa film festival in October to my pleasure. Despite this, I find I can't recommend it - you may like it, you may hate it. You can read my review on my MyJoblo page.
