Hey everybody,

Some other cool news has just popped up regarding the fact that Warner Bros. have been rumoured to already have a working title for the next "Superman" sequel and it very well could be "Superman: The Man Of Steel". However, it is way too early to confirm this news for sure as the executives at Warner Bros. would not comment on this.

I honestly think that this might not be the permanent title even though I really like it. A script isn't even done yet so I'm going to believe anything at this point. A very cool rumour though.

For the whole story, head to the link below:

I still have to see Superman Returns, strange how i was and still am interested in this film but missed all the way until now. I've seen less interesting movies than that. Its probably all the talk i heard about it being very average so so. Man of Steel sounds great maybe i better wait and see Returns just before i go for Steel in a few years.

I agree with jolanar, dump the "Superman" part. Everyone knows that the Man of Steel is Superman, so it's just being redundant. It's not like it's Batman: The Dark Knight - no, just make it The Man of Steel, would be better.

Not yet. It'll probably be a little while before we get a definite villain. Chris Lee and Bryan Singer are reportedly getting together to talk about the film as we speak.

Eh... Yeah, The Man Of Steel does sound really good. Too bad Spiderman wasn't given any nicknames that sound sweet.

I love the title. Just as great as "The Dark Knight". I love it when they use the comic book names like this.

I wish Raimi used "The Amazing Spider-Man" , "The Web of Spider-Man" and "The Spectacular Spider-Man" for his trilogy.

That's true. Especially the Amazing Spiderman.

You know what villain would be extremely fitting in a movie Superman movie entitled "The Man of Steel"? Metallo!

For those unfamiliar with with Metallo, he started off as John Corbin, head of intergang. Superman eventually put him away and Lex Luthor secretly poisoned his prison food with a rare disease. Lex offered to "help" Corbin of his illness. Through surgery, Corbin became...Metallo. Metal shell in the inside, flesh on the outside...and powered by...kryptonite. In "Superman: The Animated Series," he and Superman had some of the most incredible fight scenes.

So, yeah. "The Man of Steel" with Superman himself faced up against "the man of metal," so to speak. The theme could basically be "Steel vs. Metal." Maybe not exactly that, but something along the lines of that.

Metallo or The Cyborg would both rock.

Well, "Sensational' would be much better than Web of, but I agree with you.
