New "Harry Potter & OOTP" Photos! (Hi-Res!)

Hey everybody,

As most of you know from the main page at JoBlo.com, an article was posted that brand-new photos from "Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix" have been released and they were posted on USA Today.com. I've been doing some searching around the net and I came across more photos now shown on the USA Today site and they're all in very high-resolution for everyone to enjoy. Some of the shots are very cool and I'm getting more excited to see it as it gets closer.

I love the shot of Sirius Black as I'm so glad Gary Oldman is returning to the part. The shot of Harry and Cho kissing is a nice one as well. I expect to hear girls cursing at Katie Leung soon since she will be kissing Daniel Radcliffe and none of them will. :D

Im a harry potter reader, and i enjoy the movies for what they are. I have yet to see Goblet of Fire, but these shots look pretty sweet

Considering the recent spike in quality in the Harry Potter series (Goblet of Fire incredibly impressed me), I am definitely looking forward to this. Thank goodness they went in the direction of trusting this material in the hands of acclaimed directors instead of box office-drawing hacks such as Chris Columbus. While the director if this installment is less of a name director than the previous two good directors in the series, he has an impressive resume of awards and high-rated projects (mostly television work, but who cares). And while the 5th was my least favourite book of the series, I am still excited for the movie version particularly due to the very central role Gary Oldman's character plays in the film - and he's one of my favourite actors. Other favourites of mine who should be making particularly extended appearances are Helena Bonham Carter and the ever amazing Ralph Fiennes. These shots are indeed impressive. I have high hopes for this installment.

Sweet pics... They're showing the teaser trailer this monday on the Happy Feet website which is also pretty cool (I haven't read the ootp book in a while... what's with the exploding in the great hall?)

Could be Fred and George's swamp that they make before making a grand exit from the school. That looks like a passage way just outside the main hall (not sure of the exact location from the book) and it could possibly be water coming out. Just my guess

Im gonna sound like a perv here, but Hermoine(or however you spell that) was adorable in the first one and looked like she'd get hotter and hotter, but has steadily gotten uglier as the movies have gone on

I could not disagree more. She has been at the least, steadily hot. And I think she keeps getting hotter.

I dunno... along the lines of not sounding like a perv as well I think that Hermione and Ginny are both getting more and more cute at the movies keep coming out.
