I know there are many of you, who want to be filmmakers. My question is: What are you going to do to become one? Are you going to go to film school? Or are you going to learn everything by yourself? Do you expect to get work from Hollywood or are you going to finance your own low budget indie film? Tell about your future plans!

Well I am already working with friends in looooow budget "films". Basically right now they are for our own experience, kinda like warming up. We all share our ideas, write different screenplays, handle different equipment (try to anyways) and so forth.
I plan on taking filming classes in my future community college (2 years of high school left). I want to get everything out of school that I can about the art of filming. I am not ashamed to admit I don't know a lot about it and I need a lot of experience and credentials on my side. That would make it a lot easier in the long run. On an off-school class, I am going to take writing/screenwriting classes next year.
There really is nothing to say...if you want something badly you have to go get it at all costs. I just hope I can hack it...

Right now my friends and I are making movies with a $0.00 budget, something like that. If my interests in filmaking remain after High School I want to go to USC and get a major in Film making, (they say USC is a good school for that kinda thing). There I would well, I'll get back to you on taht one

Have you guys ever heard of a school in Florida called Full Sail? You can get a degree in film in just 13 months. It does cost a pretty penny though.
