Teen actor here in need of work

Hi guys, never really told you all about myself I am 18 and currently in college majoring in theatre. I plan to do acting in my future if I am so lucky. I have in my past done many many plays and lots of theatre, etc. I placed 1st in the nation in a dramatic interpretation festival. So if anyone ever becomes serious about putting something onto film, then give me an e-mail. I will play ANY type of roll. Thanks, and have fun guys!

I am from South Carolina. After college I plan to go to New York or California to search for my dreams, so we will see what happens. Oh and by the way... my statement was misunderstood, I would never do porno, well unless I was paid enough... hahaha! Joke guys! But the beauty of acting for me is that I can play people so unlike myself. As many actors use it, I also use it for some sort of soul searching and therapy. Thanks for the support!

I used to do some acting before and made my way into different things like pantomime as well. It's really a great feeling and works on so many levels. I hope you will keep trying to break into the big industry. If you look around yourself and find you're the most persistant, you'll find that you are the one with the best chance of making it.

Thanks so much guys for all of the support. Like I have said before I am so serious about my career and what I want to happen on down the line. But I feel that getting the education and the college degree are quite important as well. I am not going to let anything stop my dreams and my goals. So who knows maybe one day you will be talking about me on this board... all good I hope though. So try and keep me in your minds in the future.

AJL- you keep working! They all say that if you want something bad enough, you get it. Just perservere and develop a thick skin. I've been acting (ranging from school productions to local plays) since I was about 12, but I feel that even though you have to start somewhere, these are gonna need to be bumped up a little to get noticed. You, however, seem to already be in posession of the spark that is required. And who knows, maybe one day you'll be sharing your first love scene with the one and only Miss Jolie! /ubb/wink.gif

Yeah good luck with this, I know it's your dream and all, but I think these other guys maybe being alittle too nice to you. Don't get me wrong, I hope you make it big and wish nothing ill of you, but acting is'nt exactly the easiest thing to make it big in. (Unless you happen to already be famous). There is one big question you have to ask yourself "Why do I want to become an actor?". Is it because you love acting? Or is it because you want to make it big? In a buisiness like this you there is such a small chance of any actor making it big that you pretty much have to just love acting. Making it big has to be something that rarely, if ever, comes across your mind. If you even care a smidgen about becoming famous, then life will be so much harder for you in Hollywood. Once again, *you have to love acting with all that's inside you* to survive the crap Hollywood and the TV industry will dish out to you on a daily basis. Just make sure that you have done alot of soul-searching before you really pursue this career, the risk is high, but the rewards are great. That's just how I see things anyways...good luck.
