What advice can you give an aspiring fourteen year old movie writer/director. (I already have a published book out so I am a goo writer.) Please, serious replies only, don't use me as a joke.

Well if you've already got a published book out there, you should be giving us advice!

Have you attempted screenwriting before? Do you know the basic format and structure? These are crucial to writing a script. The best advice I can give you is to just write - keep writing until you finish the damn thing and then go back and rewrite it.

I've found that my biggest problem is that I rewrite the darn thing before I'm done with it, so all I've got is a rewritten 30 pages and then I'm burned out before I can finish.

Practice, practice, practice. Get frustrated, it's good for you.
