Things are progressing quite slowly at this forum right now. There has been quite a lot of talk about sending each other our scripts, but so far nothing has happened. The big problem for many of you is probably the fact that your scripts are unfinished and you wan't to finish them before anyone reads them.
So... Right now I'm very willing to receive unfinished scripts from others. Once me and others give feedback to your unfinished script, it will very likely give you energy to write it ready. Writing a 120 page script for a 120 minute movie is a lot of hard work and will take months, if not more. I wouldn't like to wait year 2001, before we get our first script from a schmoe.
So we could put up our own "writing school". We send each other our unfinished scripts, get feedback and start rewriting. That way we can end up with a lot better results than never showing our scripts to anyone.
Crynot, you have a few unfinished scripts. Would like to send one of them to other schmoes, so we could give feedback? It doesn't matter if you haven't managed to find a suitable ending. Maybe someone can give you suggestions, where to take your story in the end...
Has anyone else any unfinished scripts?
PS. Please write comments to the topic titled "Great books about filmmaking".
