I think they should make a sequel to Ferris Beuller's Day Off. Think about it: it's 20 years later. Bueller has lost his rebelious ways and now works a mundane job in some office. Unhappy with his life, he decides to relive the glory days by calling in sick to work, even though he has a really important meeting, or something stupid like that. Instead of keeping it secret from his parents, it would be his wife. Instead of Rooney tracking him down, it could be his boss. And of course, Cameron would be along for the ride. Pop in the obligatory cameos by Ben Stein, Jeffrey Jones, and Jennifer Grey, and I think you got a kickass sequel. I mean, comon, I'd pay to see it. And it's not as if Broderick has anything better to do.

Eh, sorry I kinda disagree a few like:
40 Year old Virgin (So supposedly he didn't lost his vriginity at all?)
Big Daddy
American Pie (The original cast are long dead, they're just making straight to videos now)
Meet the Fockers (Sequel was lacking, I don't want to see De Niro wasting his career away)
Dodgeball
Grandma's Boy (Worst movie of the year, IMO :p That's why I stopped in 22 mins of the movie. )
But I would LOVE to see another Ace Ventura, with Jim Carrey, but I doubt he would want to aim towards that knowing he's becoming serious with movies lately. I know there's a rumor that supposedly, Ace's son will be in the next one... Lame.
True Lies would be awesome. I know it's another rumor, but Arnie is becoming an old man now and he's way into politics and he's already thinking of doing another Terminator and Conan the Barbarian, so I doubt he would go on after that. Would be fun to see because True Lies is definitely one of the top 5 Arnie films.

I thought it was common knowledge that True Lies 2 will NEVER happen, because James Cameron doesn't feel comfortable doing an action/comedy about terrorism anymore, due to 9/11. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a TL2, so I'm not trying to be a killjoy. But I've read several articles debunking the rumor of it happening. Plus, Arnold's too into politics now, and he's running a second term in CA as far as I know, so he's got no time for movies any time soon.

I did enjoy Speed 2. The second half is one hell of a spectical. Two bad the first half is rather dull. It was't bad at all, but it was a bit cartoonish compaired to Speed.
All that probably wouldn't have mattered if they'd got back Keanu.

After When Nature Calls, Carrey swore off sequels forever, vowing never to play the same character twice.

Longest sequel title ever :
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events 2 : The Situation Worsens - Lemony Snicket had the funniest Jim Carrey performance in many many years.
Alien 5 - If they can get a respectable, visionary director to take a shot at the Alien franchise, I am so there !
Daredevil 2 - After seeing the director's cut I really wanted a sequel.
Serenity 2 - Cause I just can't get enough of captain Mal and his crazy antics.

I'd like to see either:
A straight up crime/drama with the Gecko bros. on the road.
Or
A sequel where Seth Gecko once again finds himself battling a supernatural force of some kind (werewolves, zombies, etc.). Kind of like how John McClane constantly finds himself combatting elite terrorist organizations. A sequel (or two?) where we get the sense that Seth Gecko is just REALLY fucking unlucky and, despite wanting to just be left the hell alone, is repeatedly confronted by monsters and ghouls would be sick as shit. ;)

Mystery Men 2! Yes! I was about to reply until I saw that. Such a great movie that received no love while it was in theaters, but has now become a cult hit. The studios should see this and get a sequel under way with the same cast and, preferably, the same writers and director.
And I actually really like Derek's idea for a Ferris Bueller sequel. That sounds like something that could really work and potentially revive Broderick's film acting career.

"Bill and Ted's Most Triumphant Voyage" would go down a treat in addition to the the previous two films.
A second "Point Break" perhaps?
and I'd watch a "Big Trouble in Little China" sequel in a heartbeat!

I believe that Ghost Rider should be a sequel to The Wicker Man. Stay with me here. Wouldn't you love to see Nick Cage sent to hell by those bitches, he's given his Rider powers and he returns to that fucking Island and kills all those trecherous whores. I've never wanted an Island full of women destroyed so badly in my life.
All kidding aside, I would really like to see the Boondock Saints sequel. I've been waiting for far too long. And I'm tired of wondering if Troy Duffy has the clout to get it done or not. I also want to see if it was a fluke or if he really is as good as he may be.

Somehow, I think a sequel would ruin the end of the original (like with Back to the Future). I'd definitely like to see a prequel exploring Alex's fall into juvenille deliquency (which undoubtably involves the emotional distress of puberty and a heeping dose of public school education;)).
Who knows. The movie might stand for more today than it did back in the 70's. Plus, it will present full-on female nudity to masses of thirteen year old American boys. That can only do wonders at the box office.

I don't get the comparison. Back to the Future's ending set up the sequel. A Clockwork Orange finishes basically as it started, hence the title.

I have read a lot of meanings for the title of A Clockwork Orange.
The movie was named that because they went to the "home" of the author of "A Clockwork Orange" - a manuscript celebrating human free will and denouncing any infringement upon it.
The Term is also used as: An English slang term meaning something doesn’t quite seem right or is out of place.
I'm not saying all this as a matter of fact. Their is so much to this movie on several levels. IM sure IM no where near smart enough to figure it all out with-out Cliff Notes. Feel free to correct me...I don't under stand " hence the title " if you were referring to Kubrick film.

I don't know about the "Orange" aspect to the title (though it does make it sound cooler), but I always assumed the "Clockwork" part symbolized how the main character kind of followed a clock's progression: starts at midnight, goes around (and meets characters), changes to day, reaches noon, goes around (meets the same characters under different circumstances), and reaches midnight again (and is the same guy he was at the beginning of the movie). That's how I've deciphered it.

Here's what I always thought of the title of A Clockwork Orange. The "Orange" symbolizes something biological - in this case, Alex, a human being hence biological. The "Clockwork" symbolizes that while Alex is a biological creature on the outside, on the inside he is mechanical, programmed by the rehabilitation treatment he goes through. Obviously, the entire treatment itsellf is a symbol of how social norms and conformity can drive and control a person's behavior. Even the "A" has a meaning - it's called "A Clockwork Orange" and not "The Clockwork Orange" Because Alex is just one in many, many people who are mechanicalised and controlled by coercions of society.

What I'm trying to say is that sequels ruin the kind of cool vibe there is at the end, regardless of whether one sets up a sequel or not.

How does it ruin it in Back to the Future for you (I'm kind of curious)? I tend to like sequels most of the time; most movies don't set up sequels, they simply end and then a sequel sets up what has happened in between the two movies. Back to the Future sets up as to where the sequel picks up RIGHT after the first one; hell, even a few minutes pass by between BTTF2 and 3 (Marty takes Doc back home). I just don't see how the "vibe" is ruined when the story basically continues point blank.
