Is the one that is available unrated? I remember hearing about an unrated one out, if not anyone know when?

I could be wrong, but I think the version thats everywhere is the theatrical cut. I don't think I've ever seen a different unrated edition on the market either....it would be cool to track down though if it existed.

again....could be wrong.

the only version available is the R-rated theatrical version. the unrated cut is completely unavailable and from what ive heard itll take a long time (if ever) to appear

I'm glad about that in a way cos I know I haven't missed out. I bought it R2 presuming it was UNCUT and found to my disgust it wasn't! The same thing happened when I bought WES CRAVEN'S CURSED. The UNCUT scenes were only included as part of the featurette!!! UGH!! I sold it straight away for about £2 and will purchase the R1 edition eventually. :(

Great....now I'm worried

I ended up buying Cursed blind for like four bucks so I have no idea what the theatricle cut was like. Mine says it's an unrated version. It's a big red cover with unrated stamped across the front.

Did I get lied too, or are their two different versions of this as well?

Nope, fortunately you're ok. You have the UNRATED R1 edition. The cover of the R1 and R2 edition are exactly the same apart from the colours. The R2 cover has a dark blue finish and is CUT. It appears to be the only version available in the UK. No doubt because it was such a flop.

Umm...its Cursed guys. You shouldn't worry about if its cut or not, you should be worrying about how you can get it the hell away from the rest of your movies before it taints them all!

I'm right there with you.

I just wish we could have seen Wes Craven's original vision of it before the studios mucked it up.
