Watched this just yesterday and needless to say I appreciated all the extra gore!! In fact I enjoyed this Version more than the Theatrical Version! Thoughts?

P.S.
Makes me wonder what awaits me in the "Original Uncut" Version of The Descent and the Uncut Version of Saw II that I have! ;) :p

I have the uncut versions of Saw III and The Descent. I thought Saw III was great. I loved the ending. With The Descent I don't know what was different. There was alot of blood.

Too bad they didn't include the alternate ending to The Decent on the uncut version.

The only real difference in the Descent Original Cut is that the ending is the original MASTERPIECE ending (as I call it).

Which ending are you talking about? The original (U.K.) ending, the U.S. Theatrical ending, or something else entirely?

UK Version, I believe.

SPOILER:

In the US Version, she wakes up after her fall climbs out of the cave gets in the SUV and hauls @ss away. After down the road she pulls over pukes gets back in and see Juno mangled in the seat next to her, she freaks. She wakes up again in the cave and sees her dead daughter with a cake, then she's alone again.

END SPOILER:

LMK, thanks.

Wait so you wish that they had the alternate US version on the original unrated dvd? Because if so, just stop it right before it goes into the cave after she escapes.

Absolutely hated Saw III, nowhere near the first two in terms of quality, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the Saw franchise is dying to me now. For God's sake, a new one is being released every friggin' year. I'm starting to dislike the films more every time I see one. They're full of plot holes.

Now, to compare the endings of both films, The Descent U.K Ending kills Saw III's... by miles... and miles.

So can anyone tell me the UK ending to The Decent?!?

The one that you described above IS the UK ending. You must be mixed up because the one in the original cut HAS the UK ending. The US ending ends with her in the car before it cuts to the hole.

That one, sorry for the mix-up. ;)

Saw III uncut was very good, I thought all the Saws were good, but the first is no question the best. But I liked Saw 3 over Saw 2. As for the Decesent, I can't really tell the difference between the uncut version and the regular, there is a ton of blood in both.
