Can somebody explain to me exactly what's the fucking DEAL with this shit? While I'm not its biggest fan, I don't automatically dismiss all electronic/club music. But this crosses a line. Forget the fact that this is just a fucking average club mix taking a song (and a staple of classic rock at that) and slapping a techno beat onto it, but this arrogant fuckwad Eric Prydz CHANGES THE TITLE TO "PROPER EDUCATION" EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE SAME FUCKING SONG, and then doesn't even CREDIT PINK FLOYD!!! Imagine the hordes of little brats who go to the club or hear this on the radio and say "man, that Eric guy has some really great lyrics and guitar work". Ugh, I just hate this sub-genre of club mixes of songs, and classic ones at that, but releasing it as a major single like this REALLY grinds my gears.

ok so you are not a fan of it which I can respect but I myself like DANCE MUSIC.
I don't like all in general so I am selective on which ones actually grabs me.
I took a sample listen via iTunes.
Really does borrow PINK FLOYD. Roger must be rolling his eyes when this song is brought up. :D

Now while I'm not a casual listener, I definitely don't have a problem with electronic music. Sampling is all fine and dandy by me, and there are some artists that do amazing things with electronic music - Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk, I'm looking at you. But this song is beyond sampling. And saying that it "borrows" from PINK FLOYD is quite the understatement. It's the EXACT SAME SONG as the original, but slightly sped up and with a techno beat added to it, and that's IT. And I ask and ponder, why so little work deserves so much credit and gets this elaborate single release with a music video, radio play and everything? It just pisses me off, or may be I'm just defensive of the classic as Floyd are one of my favourite bands and I really see this as an insult to their legacy and a total butchering of a masterpiece of rock.

The whole single (and accompanying music video) is an excuse to raise awareness for global warming.
...hence the title.
