New Line Cinema is seriously considering placing Ash in the next Freddy vs Jason sequel. Please god of all that is cinema, if you let this happen I'll be good from now on. I promise.

Read about it here (http://www.worstpreviews.com/headline.php?id=2421&count=0)

The article also mentions a possible Evil Dead IV? Effin Sweet!

last i heard of the possibility of this happening was that Raimi was completely against it so i'll believe it when i hear something from him

I would love for this to happen, but I kinda doubt it will. This has been movie news for YEARS now. I would only see it if Ash was the winner. Otherwise, fuck it.

Hmmm...last I heard the project was dead because of Raimi. I'd totally be up for it, though. Bloody-disgusting posted Jeff Katz' treatment a couple years ago and it was actually pretty cool. Have it saved in My Documents. :)

After reading the treatment for Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash (which is a great read by the way), I'll be all for it if finally happens.

I didn't know that this idea was still in talks to be a movie. I thought it was over. I'm glad it's still in consideration. Although Freddy vs. Jason wasn't the best movie, I'd still like to see Ash come in and kick some ass.

Awesome thanks! Not bad, not bad at all. I'd pay full pop at the theater, then buy the dvd, then buy the special editon dvd released 2 months later.

I would see this opening night, but I can't imagine Ash fighting against these two. I feel dirty for saying that I don't believe He has a chance against them.

My whole problem with Freddy VS Jason was there was barely any Freddy VS Jason. It was all Jason kills the kids, Freddy chasing after them and scaring them in their dreams but not taking one soul for himself. The end fight I thought was awesome but the rest of the movie was ok. If there is a lot of action between the main 3 players with for example Ash and Jason have a fight, Ash is knocked unconcious but out of Jasons reach and then has a confrontation with Freddy in his dreams, then Freddy and Jason and then all 3. Jason and Freddy would always be attempting to kill the usual hot sexy teens with Freddy trying to take their souls and with Ash trying to protect the teens from being killed. It needs to be fast paced and you have to feel the tension when Ash, a mere human with a great destiny, is trying to protect these mere mortals from Supernatural killers.

That would be a cool movie.

I just read the treatment and imo i think its great!! honestly, why wouldnt Raimi not want this to happen? its a good story with lots of action and well......it just plain seems fun!! a great way to bring Ash back to popularity. i think we should start an online petition to get this movie made. whos with me???

What, no Michael Myers love? Why hasn't he been invited to the party?

These films are finished for now. Sorry to break the news everyone....

No really though...I would have loved to see Tarantino's version of a Friday film. I love all of these series of films and welcome just about everything and anything. Just don't let Paul W. Anderson touch the franchise.

This is old news. It was first rumored in 2003 after FvJ, but it never came to fruitation due to three words by Mr. Sam Raimi: "It ain't happening."
