I know. I hate it when the studios pull this bullshit. What pisses me off even more is that the extended editions aren't available to rent on places like Netflix since I'd rather rent it than waste another fucking $20-30. This is why I will buy special extended editions of only movies that I REALLY love like what I did with the Bueller!Bueller edition not too long ago.

Speaking of which, I may get the Duckie edition of Pretty In Pink only for the original ending unless it's on youtube (that way I save $ ;) ) especially since I always thought Duckie should have ended up with Andie instead of Blaine (aka "major appliance" ).

Both the video and audio have been digitally remastered.

"Spider-Man 3" swings into theatres this May 4th.

Nobody gives a shit about an extra 5 minutes, or an extra commentary at the expense of forking our more and more money for what is essentially the same movie. I have double dipped for a very few movies, like Kingdom of Heaven. Now that's a box set worth double dipping for. Sure, the HARDCORE fanes will buy anything for any new tidbit. But Spiderman 2.1?! Watched the extended version of FX a while back... Not really anything worth buying the DVD again for. May get it down the line really cheap and make the original Spidey 2 DVD a 3 or 4 disc set :p

I have the DTS Superbit version. THis movie is a high performance machine. Major action flick. It should have had the DTS instead of the 8 producers commentaries on it in the first place.
