Ok, so that one might be a one discer with not a lot of extras. But Del Toro is known for putting out kickass editions of his movies.

Dear New Line,

Why the FUCK can you not pull off a similar Platinum Series release for Little Children? You must have SOME extra material for it, and it can't be THAT hard to get Field, Winslet and Wilson into a studio to record some kind of commentary. Come ON motherfuckers, GIVE ME SOMETHING BETTER THAN THAT BAREBONES SHIT!!!!

Back to Pan's Labyrinth, though; this is awesome. I actually wasn't really intending to get the movie on DVD, but with a release like this, how can I resist?

Wow...this is coming out fairly fast!! but hey, who gives a fuck? The release seems pretty solid, with a decent amount of extras, DelToro's the motherfuckin' man when it comes to releasing his movies; Don't get me wrong, we should still expect a 3 disc version, and then a 4 disc with a statuette or some such shit....but the initial 2 disc is pretty fucking good compared to most.

They won't pull it off, because in one way or another they've pretty much told Field to go fuck himself.

I wonder if del Toro's commentary will be in English or in Spanish. I don't care much since I speak both, but I'm curious. I'll definitely be picking this baby up; it was a great movie.

Being that this wasn't a studio movie, like Hellboy was, I'd think that the theatrical cut was his director's cut.
also as far as i know, New Line dont do "double dip" releases on films in their Platinum Series

Does anybody know if the Futurshop exclusive 2 disc, with a sweet fucking cover, is also going to be at Best Buy like The Departed was? I only ask cause I dont want to have to order it off of ebay if I dont have to, no futureshop where I live.

Doubt there's an "alternate version" - IMDB doesn't indicate anything nor have a read about "cut/extended scenes"

Future Ship exclusive 2-disc? It's available in one-disc and two-disc editions...

His post was confusing a bit. The cover is the exclusive which is only availible for the 2-discer... which is a damn good exclusive when the cover got such hate on a lot of forums.
