Just saw PRINCE.........
Was an interesting segment and nothing morbid happen during the perfornance. Haaaay I am talkin bout the rain. :D
Notice that they crowd was goin wild with the well known songs and he tosses in a lesser known one. Come on! Give the crowd what youre known for!


As for the previous of previous ya know the scandalous performance of Janet & Justin.
It's funny that Kid Rock did not get shit for what he was wearing that year.

Prince was great. I loved his Purple Rain performance. Him singing that Foo Fighters song was kinda odd.

Face it people, Prince is God and he can do no wrong. That medley thing was orgasmic and there are maybe five songs that can claim to be even anywhere near the pure awesomeness of Purple Rain.

Prince and Paul McCartney are two of the best I've seen. I really can't remember who else has done them. I just remember those two as the ones I enjoyed the most.

His Foo Fighters cover was horrible.

I've seen Foo Fighters live and they weren't very good. Prince did it even worse.

Well, it kind of makes sense since Foo Fighters covered Prince's Darling Nikki. I liked Prince's version since Best Of You is one of their weaker songs IMO and I think most of the IYH "hard rock" disc sounds too repetitive and half assed.

Unfortunately, I missed Billy Joel's national anthem singing when I was on my way to my grandpa's (He's a Bears fan - Next year,gramps, just like the Cubbies) house so hopefully youtube will have it.
