Black Hawk Down Double Dip?

I'm wondering if I should get the Black Hawk Down 3-Disc Deluxe Edition. I bought the DVD when it came out in 2001. By the way my first DVD. So would this be worth the double dip?:confused:

the dvd is easily one of the best double-dips, but mainly any Ridley Scott-dvd-production-by- Charles de Lauzirika (this, Gladiator 3-disc, Kingdom of Heaven 4-disc, and (YES!) the upcoming Blade Runner multi-disc set)

back to the dvd.....the commentaries are descent (favorite being the one with Task Force Ranger Veterans), you have the 2.5 hour making of documentary, from writing the film to releasing, deleted scenes, storyboards, photos, and everything to due with production on the second disc.

on the third disc are the historical aspects of the real battle, with 2- 1 hour long each documentaries, one from History Channel, other from PBS (both are great), you then have a mission timeline, multi-angle sequences, q & a forums, a music video, and posters and publicity stuff.

in other words: buy it.

By the time they came out with that edition, it was a quadruple dip! :eek:

There was the one-disc theatrical release - June 11, 2002

The gorgeous Deluxe Edition - June 3, 2003

The Superbit version - so you could have DTS on June 15, 2004

and finally the unnecessary Extended Cut June 6 of 2006

So then the 3 Disc Deluxe Edition would be a good one to get seeing that I only have the single disc edition.

I have all the editions...but 3 disc is by far the best

You need the Black Hawk Down 3 disc so you can put it between Gladiator EE and Kingdom of Heaven DC.

I Just won it on Ebay for $19.98 w/shipping. Says brand new and sealed. So was it worth less than $20.00? On Amazon is was $29.99, so I think I did well. I haven't had any problems with Ebay yet so I hope I don't with the DVD.
