Timberlake in "The Graduate" Remake

Justin Timberlake is in talks to star alongside Demi Moore in a remake of "The Graduate."

In the planned remake, Moore is set to take on the lead role of Mrs. Robinson, while Timberlake will play her young stud-in-training, a role made famous in the original film by Hollywood veteran Dustin Hoffman.

According to Variety, Moore was initially intent on making the film with her husband Ashton Kutcher, but decided against the idea after collaborating on-screen with her past lovers Bruce Willis and Emilio Esteves.

No shooting schedule has been announced, although producers are keen on signing a director for the project within the next month.

That has nothing to do with it. It's the fact that they're remaking The Graduate to begin with.

Besides, Demi Moore isn't the seductress that Anne Bancroft was.

I think TImberlake may very well be a good actor, but to have a remake of this movie with him in the role seems like a travesty. Dustin Hoffman of course, can't play it, but there are far better men than JT to do so. I would've even taken Kutcher to do it (not saying Kutcher is a good actor... He does seem cool.)

That being said, I have no opinion on Demi Moore. And I think JT is a good singer.

How about the time, it was right about when Crossroads came out, when it was "rumored" that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were going to remake Love Story? That was great!
