I hope someone on here can help me as I've seen Monster Mania talked about on here before. I went on monstermania.net to order my tickets but the link for ordering tickets isn't working. I also tried to go to the directions link to find out where the place is, but that link didn't work either.
Does anyone know how I can order my tickets? I don't want to miss out on this event!! :(

The ticket online ordering was stopped on Feb. 5th. Because advanced tix are snail-mailed, they want to make sure people get them in time. You can buy tickets at the door. They usually start selling them a few hours earlier than the doors open on Fri. I always buy the 1 hour advance ticket. Its worth getting in an hour before most other people. I think its $30 for advance and $25 for regular. Friday is the best day to go because its the least busiset and the autograph lines go pretty quick.
I wasnt gonna go but I pulled together enough cash to make it. I wanna meet Emily Perkins (Ginger Snaps) and Chainsaw Sally, Alexxus Young, and Gunnar Hannsen from the new Shock-O-Rama movie "Chainsaw Sally". I went 4 times before and had a great experiance each time.
Heres a link to the main page to the hotel the MM takes place in. I leave from the Philly/PA area. I just go over the Ben Franklin Bridge and its 15min past that.

Hope that helps.

This will be my first convention ever. Should I wear a costume? (I could) I am looking forward to seeing all the Saw cast members/events. (I hope to get Tobin Bell to autograph my Saw DVDs and comic.) Also since I happen to be Canadian, I will look to meet Emily Perkins (to let her know that someone from the homeland is in tha house ;) )
I will be going saturday, as Tobin won't be there Friday and the films/events I'm interested in are going to be done on Saturday.

I've been to four of these and the fans that arrive don't particularly dress up in costume. These aren't as bizarre as Star Wars/Star Trek conventions! :D
Be sure to be bring at least $300 with you, because there will be a lot of hard-to-find movies/merchandise you can't get anywhere else. The celebrity guests also charge as much as $20 for autographs/photos.

I am bringing about $300. I am not getting as many autographs this time, but I always see some cool movies or shirts. The Saw people will probably be in a room altogether. So you'll have to wait in a line just for that room. Hopefully not outside like last time. So I'd reccommend getting in that line after you get your ticket if you really want those autographs. Sometimes people wait in those lines for a couple of hours before thay get into the rooms with the main attraction people. Everyone else will probably be in a bigger room with thier own lines, that doesnt take as long.
Oh Yeah, Tom Atkins is gonna be there. I am definatly gonna get his autograph and a picture!!

So exactly how do the autograph fees? Do I have to pay like $20 per item I want signed? Do they give you a photo if you have them sign other stuff?
I'll probably bring $100ish spending money. Lion's Gate will have some free give-aways (hopefully Saw stuff!), I look forward to that!

Yeah, usually anyone will do a pic with you for free. No matter what you get signed. Most people have pix from films they where in you can buy and they'll sign it. Those are between $15 and $25 each. If you get a personal item (DVD, magazines, etc.,) signed its usually between $10-$15 each. Some people, like Tom Savini, sign personal items for free. There is a table on the right as soon as you walk in that gives away free stuff. I've gotten posters from them for The Descent and TCM: the beginning. A couple of shows ago I got a free Jason-X poster and A TCM remake shirt from Lions Gate.

There is restaurant in the hotel. Bob Evans ia across the parking lot and there is a shopping center doen the street. There is plenty of food places within 5 min of the hotel. You get a wristband so you can come and go as you please. I'm leaving in 3 hours. Should be awesome!
