Well season 2 is over with, and we don't have to wait for an unaired episode to show up on DVD this time!
So with out further adue, vote for your favourite episodes of season 2, here are my top 5:
5. The Damned Thing
What a way to start the season, a thrill ride from start to finish.
4. The Washingtonians
Visions of Ravenous danced in my head with an equally warped little tale.
3. The Screwfly Solution
What a disturbing story, well told!
2. Pelts
Just what the doctor ordered, the obligatory plotless gorefest. What fun!
1. The Black Cat
Great story, cool gore, and it screws with your brain, I loved it!

I've only recently started watching this season (Canadian, eh). This season was, I think at least, more misses than hits than last season. Of the 12 episodes I've seen I'd rate them as follows:
1. Sounds Like
I thought this episode was great. It also helps that I've grown to really love whatever Brad Anderson makes. It was just so damned different than all the others I couldn't help but love it. It's also now my favorite episode of either of the seasons. Chris Bauer really held it together with his slow decent into madness. Brad Anderson as always managed to shine with his mastery behind the camera.
2. Family
Like last season another actor you'd never expect to see as a serial killer does just that. George Wendt pulls off an amazing job and made me instantly forget about Norm. He manages to showcase a guy who isn't entirely creepy, but not entirely trustworthy. I gotta hand it to Brent Hanley, he wrote a very interesting story. This has got to be the darkest thing Landis has ever made. (If you were wondering which actor from last season I'm refering to it's Michael Moriarty in "Pick Me Up")
3. The Black Cat
Stuart Gordon gets loads of points for this episode. He's got some great skills behind the camera. It just looks so good. Jeffery Combs does an amazing job as Poe. He really captured everything I had always envisioned about Poe. The woman who played his wife was always incredibly good. She showed she has some range of skills. I gotta hand it too the DP for some incredible shots. Paoli and Gordon also managed to get Poe's story wonderfully.
4. The Washingtonians
I'm a huge fan of Bentley Little. He writes some truly original horror pieces. This episode missed a couple of the minor things in Little's original story but otherwise it was well done. Medak has some skill behind the camera with some nice shots. I particularily liked the opening and the Washingtonians on the porch. I liked that it didn't take itself very seriously. The only thing I think this flick missed was the original ending from the short story. It was far better. They also should've left out the Bush bill at the end.
5. We All Scream for Ice Cream
It's great to finally see Tom Holland back in the directors chair. We missed you. I liked this episode alot more than I thought I would. William Forsythe plays Buster incredibly well. But in all honesty I think he coulda done it without really trying. His clown leaves a taste that is very similar to another very creepy clown *cough*Pennywise*cough*. Holland directs like he hasn't missed a day. The group of friends, surprisingly, act like friends.
I liked alot of the others, they are just hard to rank. Pelts was a great return to form for Argento. Right to Die was an interesting thing to see by a new comer. Unfortunately, there were some real dissapointments. So now here they are:
The V Word(great first half, fell apart in the second half)
The Damned Thing(Looked nice and gritty, story was muddled)
Dream Cruise(Ok, this one I hated. I hate Japanese ghost stories)
The one I missed is Pro-Life

1. Pelts
Just for the fact Meat Loaf was in it. Plus it was one of the few Masters of Horror's that made me sick to my stomach.
2. The Black Cat
That was creative what they did with the concept of Edgar Allen Poe. I never thought I would like it but I ended up liking it a lot.
3. Screwfly Solution
Wierd and yet some what good. I had to watch it twice in order for me to really like it. It didn't pop out as being that great but it ended up being pretty good. I like the idea and concept behind it.
4. Valerie on the Stairs
Considering I love writing and this defiently brought it to a hold of reality. It is still kind of confussing because you are not directly sure what is going on or why? And even at the end you still kind of sit there thinking but for me that makes it good. The ending is what makes it interesting. He should have listen to her.
5. The Washingtonians
At first My dad and I watched it and we both started bursting out laughing. Then I watched it again and have to say it was creative. Who would have thought anything so unpatriotic and brilliant as this. The ending kind of ruined it for me though. It just kept getting corny as it went along.
