Personally I'm trying not to spoil myself.

I want to go into the theater knowing as little as possible about 300. But thats just me I'm sure.

for whatever reason i'm doing the same, i read the book i skimmed through the art of the film book today at borders and i still dont wanna watch this stuff, i guess i just really want to be blown away

It's not just you, I'm only going to preview beforehand whatever I see on the trailers in theaters.

I'm doing my best to avoid everything I can about 300 until I see it.

Same. I remember when Matrix 2 came out and I saw the whole highway chase scene on an entertainment show. Totally ruined the most interesting part of the movie.

I went to a press screening for "300" out here in LA last weekend and all I'm going to say is this....the visuals are absolutely beautiful...and the ass-kickery of the battle scenes will have you cheering for more....the wait is well worth it gentlemen....
