I am a huge batman fan, and to be honest, ive always had a soft spot for the animated series Batman Beyond. yeah the second season got a little campy, you gotta admit, the series did have a good idea and some amazing episodes (the first shriek episode:awsome) anyways what would you guys think of a Batman Beyond live action movie??? I think with the right director and right cast, the movie could be sweet. I could just see christain bail in old man makeup as the elder bruce wayne and maybe Hayden Christensen or Justin Chatwin as Terry? thoughts? opinions? ya or nay?

Batman Beyond to me is much like the new TMNT serries....which is, simply put, lame. Both fail to capture the essence of what makes the franchises special (at least to me). However I was a big fan of the Mask of the Phantasm film done in the mid 90's. That batman serries owned. Do they have the DVDs out for that yet?

Yes sir, you can get every single episode of Batman: The Animated Series on DVD as well as Mask of the Phantasm. :)

As far as Batman Beyond goes, I'm not interested. Bruce Wayne is my only Batman, and I don't really care to see a protege in the far future take his place.

I actually like Batman Beyond a lot. It was one of my favorite cartoons and I'd love to see it as a movie... but only after the current series is finished.

I enjoyed Batman Beyond as well; especially some of the backstories involving Bruce Wayne and why he gave up the batsuit, and all that. I think a live-action movie could be really cool, but it has to wait a while for the current Batman movies to be done. I would even hope that they would wait several years after that to start up the franchise to let Christian Bale age a bit (screw the old makeup), even he's even willing to do it. Hell, I'd take Michael Keaton as well.

Watch Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, the uncut version.

In my opinion it equals MASK OF THE PHANTASM. Awesome stuff and the best part of that series. It had a lot of guts to do what it did to many of the characters.

Would be really cool. I loved Batman beyond.

I think people shouldn't compare it to the dark knight. If you consider BB to be a new superhero, you'd probably be more receptive.

Definitely not anytime soon and even then I'd be wary.
