Menace II Society Unrated DVD?

Just watched this (near) classic a couple of hours ago and was about to order it when I remember reading somewhere a couple of shootings were trimmed for an R rating. Further research revealed an unrated version on Laserdisc (???). Does anyone know where, if possible, this film can be found in it's uncut glory on DVD?

just check all of the dvd sites such as like dvdplanet.com. but i don't know. Great movie though.
