What can you tell me about the Cdn. release dates of the Weinstein Co.s Dragon Dynasty label editions of: The Infernal Affairs Trilogy, Jackie Chan's Police Story, and Jackie Chan's Police Story 2? Thanks!! :)

After I logged off yesterday I found that to be true...and had a store put a copy on hold for me. :D

I did not know that there was a called Mister Christian. So when I saw the thread title it struck me as particularly offensive. I had assumed(without looking at who had posted it) it was some rant against christianity and all the people withen said religion. I don't know why I came to that conclusion, I just did. It just seemed like a thread title off of IMDB where the person basically assumes all christians are bigots and lays waste on them. Then I remembered where I am and how thats not tolerated and that Burlock posted, a person I wouldnt assume to hear that from, and got a little redfaced. Ah well, such is life.

I actually bought the "Dragon Dynasty" editions of the first two Police Story movies as they're some of my favorite Chan films (for reference Supercop and First Strike are Police Story 3 & 4 respectively) and was pleased. Sure they're not loaded discs, but I'm just happy to be finally getting great looking copies of two previously unavailable in Region 1 Chan movies.
I will also be getting the Infernal Affairs boxset through Netflix, as I've only seen the first one.

Alliance Atlantis puzzels me. We're talking Jackie Chan here, Jackie Chan! Why not "pick up" these editions of these films? It makes no sense, not to mention dollar$! Come on Alliance Atlantis, pick 'em up!

Alliance Atlantis may not have the rights to Police Story - sort of what happened with Seven Swords as Seville Pictures has it (and Warner will distribute it)...

Surely someone will pick them up. We are talking Jackie Chan afterall! It's not like they're not gonna sell, they'll sell. All stores where I live have Jackie Chan films in stock on a regular basis. He's not some nobody just starting his carrier, he's an action film superstar worldwide! Come on people, pick 'em up!
